SAVE TREES

GROW HEMP

Hemp is finally legal to grow, allowing us to produce twice as much fiber as cotton, twice as much ethanol as corn, and 4 times as much paper pulp as trees per hectar, using far less or none water and pesticides, while fixing the soil.

It’s also a medicinal superfood.

Industrial hemp has been grown in the U.S. since the first European settlers arrived in early 1600s. In 1619, it was illegal NOT to grow hemp in Jamestown, Virginia. For over 200 years in colonial America, hemp was currency that one could use to pay their taxes!

Discovering benefits of Hemp Seeds and CBD

Hemp seeds have a rich nutrition profile. They contain high levels of antioxidants, fatty acids, minerals, and vitamins. The shells add fiber to the diet, and grinding the seeds helps the body to absorb more of the other nutrients. Hemp seeds are a good source of polyunsaturated and essential fatty acids. They have about a 3:1 ratio of omega-6 to omega-3, which is considered in the optimal range. Studies have shown that giving hemp seed oil to people with eczema may improve blood levels of essential fatty acids.

CBD oil has been studied for its potential role in easing symptoms of many common health issues, including anxiety, depression, acne and heart disease. For those with cancer, it may even provide a natural alternative for pain and symptom relief.

Research on the potential health benefits of CBD oil is ongoing, so new therapeutic uses for this natural remedy are sure to be discovered. Though there is much to be learned about the efficacy and safety of CBD, results from recent studies suggest that CBD may provide a safe, powerful natural treatment for many health issues.

... TREES

Helping The PLANET

Hemp is a weed, so it grows prolifically with little water and no pesticides. It takes up relatively little space, produces more pulp per hectar than trees, and is biodegradable. Hemp crops even give back by returning nutrients to the soil and sequestering carbon dioxide. Virtually every part of the plant can be used.

Because hemp is an annual fiber (and the best technically as a wood replacement) and also has a longer and stronger fiber, is naturally brighter (less, if any bleaching) and is much faster growing than wood, it will increasingly out-compete wood fiber in the future.

... BEES

One Step at a Time

A recent study from Colorado State University reports that industrial hemp could help declining bee populations

—a source of great ecological concern—because it’s a great source of pollen.

  • According to researchers, most hemp crops flower between July and September, coinciding with a lack of pollen production from other farm crops.

  • Over 2,000 bees (and 23 different types of bee, including the European honeybee) were collected during the study. The 23 bee types represent 80% of all types in the region.

  • This discovery points to hemp as a new pollen source for bees and could help sustain their populations.

  • Bee colonies have been declining in the U.S. due to stressors such as pests, pesticide exposure and poor nutrition from a lack of pollen, according to the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).

One Step at a Time

Hempseed oil has been well documented throughout history as a relatively inexpensive and nutrient-rich ingredient for both humans and animals. In addition to pressing the seed to create oil, it can be made into cake and meal as a solid food form as well.

Hempseed products are high in fatty acids, protein and fiber, and are shown to be a good source of a variety of minerals.

Amazing benefits of CBD for pets

Our pets may occasionally suffer from some unpleasant diseases such as pain, post-traumatic stress, inflammation, skin problems, excessive hair loss etc. If you want your pets to improve their vitality or support their veterinary treatment, CBD can be used as a dietary supplement or as an additional medicine.

CBD HEMP OIL AND THE ENDOCANNABINOID SYSTEM

Hemp acts on the receptors of the endocannabinoid system, which is present not only in the human body but also in all mammals, fish and molluscs. CBD acts in animals in the same way as in the human body and it is therefore advisable to use the product to treat pain or inflammation. Also, it helps to protect the nervous system and can also be used to treat anorexia.

Among the advantages of BSD oil as a food additive we can find the following:

– improvement in the emotional state of the animal (calmness, relaxation); easier and healthier digestion; improved immune system; relief of chronic pain; improvement of neurological functions of the animal; comfortable condition of animals during the whole period of their life activity.

Besides, veterinary OBD drugs help combat many of the health problems that our pets experience. For example, their use helps to fight:

– anxiety and stress (which can lead to annoying behaviour); general infections or pain; the treatment of severe or chronic illnesses; age-related problems in animals; gastrointestinal disorders and nausea; epileptic seizures; mental problems; oncological diseases.
